In these organizations, Joel has variously held roles as head of Product, Marketing, Origination Operations, Servicing & Default Operations, Credit Risk, and Strategy. Joel's passion lies in building businesses and helping them thrive by driving step-change improvements in consumer propositions through an integrated approach to product, technology, marketing, and sales.
Prior to HSBC, Joel was a strategy consultant with Booz Allen. In this capacity, he helped firms develop analytically-based product and revenue strategies across an array of consumer-facing industries, including: financial services, consumer packaged goods, and consumer technology. Originally an engineer, Joel began his career at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for five years in product engineering, planning, & forecasting.
